If your clothes are getting a little snug, I have good news. It can be fixed. The key is to figure out why.
Chances are something has changed in your execution. Your best next step is to pinpoint where you may have been allowing yourself too many concessions or making too many compromises.
Narrow in on what could have happened by asking yourself these questions:
1. Have I been eating healthy foods 80-85% of the time?
2. Have I been exercising portion control consistently?
3. How much of my day is spent sitting rather than moving?
4. Has there been a change in how many workouts I am doing each week?
5. Do I still "go hard" in my workouts and push myself like I used to?
Falling short of our goals is typically the result of a few errors in judgment, repeated every day. If you have veered off course, it's time to examine your most recent decisions and correct course. When you make different decisions, you create a different life.
Keep pushing, I believe in you.
P.S. I am looking for 8-10 people who want to lose 30 pounds in 6 months and keep it off. We start at the end of March. If you are interested in learning more, send me an email and I will add you to the interest list.
I know you are a busy person so I will be brief.
How is your week going? Are you still focused on your weight loss and fitness goals? I hope you are still ON FIRE about getting it done this year. I am rooting for you!
If you are starting to struggle a bit or could just use some encouragement to continue your journey, this week's temple tip is for you.
I realize that it can be hard to stay focused. Life can get busy. Sometimes making the investment in healthy living can feel more like a BIG sacrifice and there is nothing exciting about sacrifices.
But what if your mindset moved from "have to" to "want to"? If you really wanted to eat healthier and workout more and you did not have to fight so much to get it done. That would be a game changer wouldn't it?
Click here to listen to this week's tip. It IS possible to make that mindset shift I described and today's tip will put the wheels in motion.
Have a great week...I will check in on Thursday ;).
P.S .I am PUMPED because my January transformation groups kick off this week! I love seeing people transform from the inside out and I look forward to seeing what God is going to do in each person's life! In case you are wondering, I am taking another group under my wing at the end of March. If you are interested in learning more, reply and I will add you to the interest list.
When I was 100-pounds heavier, my belly was my biggest problem area. I was a bit top heavy, but most of my excess weight seemed to sit in the middle of my body. Can you identify?
For years, I tried and failed to lose weight in my stomach. I tried all the typical things: super restrictive diets, expensive supplements, superfood smoothies, and excruciating workouts but nothing worked (at least not long-term).
Finally, I grew tired of the way I looked and the way my clothes fit and went on a mission to figure out what really works. It was not pretty but through a lot of trial and error my persistence eventually paid off and I learned that....
the curse of the big belly can be reversed.
From a diet and nutrition standpoint there are three things you need to do to get a flat belly:
1. Eat the right foods.
2. Eat at the right times.
3. Eat in the right portion sizes.
Do not be hoodwinked by the latest diet book or infomercial. The truth is good nutrition (which also promotes a flat stomach) is simple.

Enjoy your evening!
I pray your week is off to a good start! All is well on my end. The team and I had an absolute a blast last Thursday and Friday hosting open houses for the January transformation group. By the looks on the faces here and here, we were not the only ones that had a good time! It is always fun to welcome new people to the 265 Point family.
But I digress, back to this week's temple tip...
Do you ever struggle to find the time to get exercise or meal prep and planning Tam?
If your answer is yes, this week's tip is for you. In it I introduce two tidbits to help you out.
Click here to listen to this week's tip. It will just take 2 minutes.
I will be back with more motivation and education later in the week.
Are you feeling stuck ?
If know what you want out of life but are having trouble staying motivated, I want you to know that there is NOTHING to feel ashamed about. We have ALL been stuck at some point in our lives. I am not here to beat you up but to help you out because I have been there.
I have felt stuck - personally and professionally - more often that I care to admit. Whether it was relationships, finances, career, or health, none of it felt good. Desire was not the problem; I did not want to stay where I was. My problem was that I did not know how to "unstick myself."
If that's where you are today, I want to encourage you to:
1. Come out of your cocoon.
2. Get around the right people.
Step out and find out.
When we are going through a hard time, it is natural for many of us to withdraw because we mistakenly believe that everyone is too busy to care. If your current circle has not provided level of support you need, have a conversation with them. They may not know how to best support you.
If after that conversation you still do not get what you need, it is time to expand your circle.
Your circle matters.
Like my featured success story Julie shared, changing for the better starts with a change of mind. This is often easier said than done because we are rarely in a position to make a major mindset shift on our own.
We must be around people that will challenge us to look at life and our ability to change differently. As Max Planck says, "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
When you step out of your comfort zone, ask for and get the support you need, and open your mind to new ways of thinking, total transformation is not only possible but inevitable. I have never seen a problem that will not bow to patience and persistence.
So make me a promise okay? Scratch that, make yourself a promise that you will start taking action on this TODAY and never look back, okay? It doesn't have to be perfect, you just need to get started.
That's what Julie did. She took one step of faith and it changed everything.
Talk to your spouse.
Call a friend you haven't spoken to in a while.
Join a Meet Up group.
Make an appointment to see a counselor.
Reply and let me know how I can help.
It's time for a new beginning.
See you on the other side,
P.S. There are people who are ready, willing, and able to be that positive, affirming, voice but you have to step out of your cocoon to find them (or provide opportunities for them to find you). I would love to be that person for you.
