Persistence is defined as “continuing firmly or obstinately in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.” Simply put, persistence is a mindset – a mindset that I cannot and will not be defeated!
When something pops up that could throw off your workout schedule, persist.
When you give in to a food craving, get up, dust yourself off, and persist.
When you feel like going out to lunch instead of eating the lunch you packed, persist.
When you’d rather chill on the couch than head to your home or neighborhood gym, persist.
Today I am challenging you to overcome your obstacles.
Remember, defeat is a mindset!
Passion gets you started.
Hope keeps you going.
Persistence gets it done.
